Problems starting car after switching engine off?

ive just bought a 1.6 vauxhall zafira this am i started car first time took kids to school came home switched car off 10mins later back in car went into town stopped at pet shop bk in again car started went to tescos to get petrol and car would not start took 10mins to start again. come home parked car up thought 10mins later il start car to see if it starts and again took 45mins to start its been on/off like this all day any help/advice wld be great
