Girls, please please help!! Could this be anything other than herpes?

I have had a burning tongue, and mouth bumps under my tongue, along my gums, and feels like in my throat as well for almost 2 weeks. Also, my mouth has a weird taste, kind of like chicken broth or something as weird as that sounds when I wake up in the morning. I recently had oral given and received (about 3 weeks ago) with a new partner and now I'm terrified I have something. I've also had headaches, a vaginal yeast infection (which i've treated already) and still some general discomfort down there, but as far as I can tell no sores or blisters in the genital area SO FAR. I feel like the timing is too much of a coincidence for it to be something else other than an STD, but i'm just praying its nothing incurable like herpes or anything. My tongue stopped burning after a few days but is still a lil sensitive and mainly the thing worrying me is these bumps that seem to keep spreading in my mouth. They don't seem to hurt except w/e is in near my throat near the back of my tongue, but I can't see if that's bumps or what. Is it possible for herpes to hurt your tongue but the actual bumps not hurt?? Sometimes I didn't even notice the burning tongue as much when I wasn't thinking about it. I know I need to go to the doctor, but I can't get an appt til next month. I did get tested 2 weeks ago already (a week after) and everything came out negative, but that was only a week after so I know it could have been false negatives. I didn't get tested for herpes, but will be sure to do so when I go back to the doc. I also feel I should note that as far as I can tell he did not have any open lesions or sores anywhere on his lips or genitals, and he says he is clean but idk bc I found out afterwards he has had several partners. I also know that you can spread herpes without a visual outbreak, but that's also confusing bc some ppl say its possible, and some ppl say there has to be an actual visible outbreak. Please help, i'm freaking out and hoping that whatever it is, its curable!!!

Peugeot 206 Engine immobilizer fault?

I have a Peugeot 206 sport 1.4 litre petrol 2006 model. Today I try to start my car and it shows up Engine Immobilizer fault. The car just turns when try to start up but will not fire up. Now it says Economy mode active. I have tried re syncing fobs - they are all OK - I've tried all my 3 keys. ( all lights etc all work ok just cant power the car up with key because of this stupid error) I am going to disconnect the battery for half hour and see what happens after that . - But any suggestions on the fix for this problem.

Do dogs really defend their master, and do you think mine will?

Hey guys, okay, so lately i've had this weird paranoid feeling of going out anywhere alone. Don't get me wrong, i can be in places by myself, but with people around me if that makes sense, but i'm talking about, say, going for a nice walk to the park or some place where there is no witnesses to hear my screams if somebody were to attack me. I guess all those stories you hear about women being attacked, raped and/or murdered have made feel like its going to happen to me. My mom told me that whenever i want to go for a walk, and she can't cos shes too busy, to take my dog. That he'll know what to do if anything were to happen. Hes a 2 year old, male bordercollie, and hes my best friend. He knows me as his master, nobody else in my family. He'll be sleeping, and before i hear a noise or somebody talking, hes already heard it and is alert. Sometimes he does this little 'buff' sound (sooo cute). He won't let ANYBODY trespass on our property, he will go mad. When somebody goes past our house, he'll yip a couple times, and that's it. When a visitor comes to the door, and i tell him its alright, he'll settle completely down, but only if its a woman. If its a man, he will just bark himself out, whimper, and keep smelling them (mainly near their crotch, soooo embarrasing), while i have him by the collar and pull him back. Sometimes he shows his teeth. Only with men. In the past i've taken him for walks, and he'll be all friendly to people, as they past us, but then another person who looks like an ordinary person like the others that met my dogs approval walks by minding his own business, and he'll get so upset and look at me, and whimper, and then keep looking back as we walk on. Hes the only dog i've had so i have no idea why he behaves like this or whether its normal. But the fact of the matter is he has never bitten somebody, and so in the back of my mind, i think he'll never actually do it, if it ever comes time for him to protect me. Its like i'll feel more at ease, if he accidently did bite somebody to protect me, there would be that re-assurance, but of course by him biting somebody, it would mean he would be taken from me.

Peugoet 307 Problem!?

I have just purchased a 2002 peugeot 307 1.4 petrol and the MFD(multi function display) isnt working, just wondering if anyone whould have any ideas what the problem would be? Treating a torn ligament?

After collecting all the stuff you have, take it to the school- not a teacher, the headmaster. What these girls are doing is bullying, harrassment, defamation and character assassination, and that is not ok. Make it known to the headmaster that if something is not done to fix this situation, you will involve the police. If he/she does nothing, take a copy of the harrassment to the police and they will deal with it. I was a victim of that sort of crap at school, and I ended up having to take it further than the school. No one should be subjected to that. And tell the mean girls that you have kept copies of all the letters/texts/facebook conversations/emails, etc and if they dont stop harrassing you, they'll be hearing from your lawyer (you dont even need a lawyer to say it, the threat of legal action is usually enough). You are so much better than the mean girls, who are probably just insecure, bored or are having problems of their own that they dont know how to deal with- as cliched as it sounds, its 9 times out of 10 the reason for taking their crap out on other people. Advice with buying a Ford focus car?

I am interested in buying the new 2011 Ford Focus diesel. The problem is I do mainly urban driving with speeds of no more than 40 mph when not at work. I have a 30 minute commute to work 5 days a week with 7 miles of this being 30-40 mph driving and 3 miles of motorway driving. Occasionally I do more than 6 miles of motorway driving depending on work location. My main concern is the DPF regeneration. Is the DPF actively or passively regenerated on the Ford Focus 2011? I know there is a petrol version but the tax is �115 compared to about �20-�30 for a diesel. Would I be better of getting a petrol?

How to help dog with severe food allergies?

the problem with severe food allergies is you will just be managing symptoms for the life of the dog ... i do not suggest allergy testing or immunotherapy (allergy shots) because that is very expensive, not definitive, and the shots in no way are a cure, and sometimes useless ... i spent thousands on allergy testing and shots with a doggie allergist all for nothing ... do you have the dog on any medication like antihistamines or prednisone ??? my dog lived the majority of her life on both of those ... the raw diet and science diet zd were absolutely the worst ... i have her on a limited ingredient grain free diet and for the first time in 10 years she is off all allergy medication ... but it is hard because she can not have one single bite of anything else or her allergies are triggered ... allergies are a challenge to deal with both in dogs and people ... and many people live their lives with "head colds" due to allergies and sadly some dogs have to live equally uncomfortable ... i would suggest a limited ingredient diet with no grains and nothing else for at least four months to see if there is any improvement ... and use a protein source that is unique to the dog, something the dog has not had before ... the reality is many vets do not know much about dealing with allergies ... i went to one vet to ask about atopica (another thing to consider, worked wonders in my dog, just very expensive pill to take) and he googled it with me in the room !!! my dog has been on every diet under the sun (nutro, california natural, orijen, taste of the wild, raw, evo, barf, kangaroo kibble, vegetarian kibble, science diet)and the only thing that has helped is this new limited ingredient diet .... there are several companies that make these diets, the one i am using is nature's balance sweet potato and salmon ... it comes in canned, kibble and treats ... good luck because i know how challenging it is to deal with allergies and to see your dog so uncomfortable ... one last piece of advice, do not let any vet talk you into a cortisone shot ... it is painful for the dog to receive and is of very minimal benefit ...

So I had to find out through extra-managerial channel and officeroom chatter that my contract as a Graduate Extern is not being renewed at a Nonprofit. During my midterm review, I was given stellar remarks and comments and my manager told my project coordinator that she wanted me on for another year. While I haven't yet met with her to discuss this (it's happening monday) when I asked her, just in passing, if she'd write me a reference and followed it up with "So I've been meeting your expectations?," her face fell a little bit and she said "well, kind of. We'll talk about it next week." At first I didn't think much of it, but I just had confirmation from my program coordinator that "There have been new developments since your midyear review." Again, I had to seek this information out. In terms of my performance, I was never given a formal sitdown session once about my performance. The worst offenses I could have been accused of was maybe writing an e-mail to my program coordinator using my e-mail account or listening to music while I did boring data entry. Beyond making a few small humorously-toned chidings, she never really ever communicated with me directly that my performance wasn't what she wanted. So when I found out my contract wasn't getting renewed, I was floored. I was more floored given that they don't pay me a red cent. My school does. I'm free labor to them. I just find it astounding that I'm being punished for behavior (which I don't really know what was so egregious?) which was never expressly forbidden to me and which I was never really given feedback, concrete, direct, behind closed doors, a serious-talk-to-talk. Not even a written reprimand. What gives? Part of me is really furious.

Can inhaling petrol fumes make you angry, or it easier to loose your temper?!?

I've been driving a car for the last couple of days that has a really strong smell of petrol/fumes. It is an unleaded car and the only way I've managed to deal with it is by opening most of the windows - most of the time, although during periods this is not possible. Last night I felt quite nauseous and a little sick with a thick headache. At the end of today I feel similar only in an incredibly bad mood and bad temper for no apparent reason. Before i totaly lost my temper in almost a fit of rage which now seems totally bizarre and uncalled for. I spoke to someone today that told me something about this being related to inhaling petrol fumes before it happend this evening! Does anyone know if there's any sense or truth to this?

1984 VW camper T25 has no clutch?

a 1984 Volkswagen T25 camper van, 1.9 petrol, While driving, the hydraulic pipe on the clutch burst, I replaced the pipe and the clutch slave cylinder, and bled all the air out. But now the clutch doesn't release. The release arm and slave cylinder move ok, about 3/4 inch, there are no mechanical noises.

Second Apartment adventure, question about renters history?

Ok, so I am about to move into my own apartment pretty soon, for the second time. The first attempt was a cluster-f**k like I have never seen in my life. I moved into this place a while back, about 5 months ago and the people that managed the utilities up there were ridiculous- I could never get ahold of them, they overcharged me, had one single guy managing the water for this entire little community and even when I did get ahold of him and pay my deposit they did not hook up my water. The Electric company was only slightly better in the fact that I did manage to get it turned on at last. But the water guy continued to send me bills, even though I had used exactly none of his services whatsoever. My propane tank was busted, had a missing part so I couldn't get heat either. After a month or two of living like a cave man in a deep freeze, I got fed up and left, in full "screw it" mode, even though I had a few months left on my lease. The guy I was renting from never pursued it, presumably since I bought him new plumbing after the old froze and busted. My question then is when I try to rent this new place, is there any way for them to check out my less than stellar history of renting? I know I wasn't exactly professional with what i did. I have learned my lesson- namely don't rent anywhere in hick a** Show Low, Arizona unless you have a lot of patience and money.

Definitely go the medcine route. Sure it may seem like a lot of time & years but in the end, it will be so worth it. There are people who are 50 yrs old and in med school. I'm 23 and thought about going the lpn route and going to nursing school but knew that at the end of the day I wanted to become a doctor & don't want to live regretting my decision to not pursue medicine. Enroll in college, take the prereqs, and ace the mcat. I would work as a massage therapist while in school so that you have money coming in. Also try applying for osteopathic medical schools as they cater to nontraditional students and might look favorably on your massage therapy background. It may seem like a long road ahead but those years go by fast & before you know it you'll be earning that medical degree. Best of luck!

Senior year really doesn't matter for admissions; applications are due in the fall before you get any senior year grades yet. If you don't aim high, you can probably get into some lower ranked state schools with a 2.4 and high SAT scores. But nothing much higher than that. And don't go to college unless you have a clear plan for what you'll major in and what you'll do with that degree.

Are you sure that's what it says, never heard in auto problems. It's a term used for fatigue in earth and metallic. Could be various things wrong, needs tune up or a sensor bad. I suggest you take to shop and get OBD computer check. Cheaper than guessing.

We are great friends with our neighbors, but are kids don't always get along. What should we do?

My child is 10 and our very good friends have an 8 yr old. At times they get along well, mainly when it's just the 2 of them. My child's issues can be hogging his turn and being bossy and when other kids are there, he may leave him out. The other child's issues are that he is controlling, threatens to leave, takes away his stuff, or tells to get them in trouble. Both kids take their turn instigating. His parent's suggest if the other children are bullying him, then he should hit them. This solution doesn't usually match the situation. When he tattles on the neighborhood kids so much they don't want him around. It's so frustrating because we try to let the kids work it out themselves, and it's just not helping. Also, it's putting stress on the relationship we have with our very good friends.

Hardgainer needs help!?

Ok so I have been training for about 6 years now. While the first two were filled with impressive gains, the years following were filled with frustration as I managed to pack on maybe one or two more pounds of muscle PER YEAR. I have tried many routines, as well as eating up to 7 meals a day consisting mainly of grain carbs and lean chicken. I am 5'10 and weigh about 160-165 and am probably around 13% body fat. The problem is, no matter how much or how often i eat and how intensely I train, I am not seeing results like I should. Recently I read about "abbreviated routines" for hardgainers, consisting of maybe only 3 compound exercises per workout performed only twice per week. My initial impression is that this seems shockingly low and that I am capable of much more than this. It is likely that I have been overtraining, but cutting down to that extent seems daunting. So my question is, is such a routine right for my body type and does anyone have experience with abbreviated routines? I will supplement such a routine with around 4,000 calories per day.

A acquaintance of ours moved out of there home and asked us if they could keep some of there stuff at our house. A lot of what they stored at our home is in a unlocked shed and can be considered pretty valuable. They asked if they could keep it at our place for a couple weeks and they would return for their stuff shortly. It's now been 3 months and they haven't contacted us to get their stuff nor have they taken their stuff freely( It's all outside in the unlocked shed) They wouldn't even have to call and set up a date and time to get it..... I do not want this stuff there any longer and be responsible for it anymore.... They assured us it would be gone by now. Personally I would like to keep some of it and get rid of a lot of the junk (things they even acknowledge is trash and said they'd dispose of it.) When is it considered property abandonment? We are moving into another home in 2 month and if we leave this stuff here we ill be charged by the rental agency to dispose of it. We have tried to contact them only once and received no call back but I do not feel it is our responsibility to chase after them to come back and get their property. I already feel like we have gone out of our way to help them bring the stuff here and store it for free. These people are hardly considered friends and mainly friends of other friends that we don't even talk to anymore

Previous employer possibly giving me a negative reference?

I previously worked for a well-known medical university in New York City, as an administrative assistant. It was a part-time position that only last five months, as I left the country for a Fulbright fellowship and quit - with over a month's a notice, and trained my replacement. Upon my return, and upon receipt of my Master's in Arts this June, I am currently applying to positions and using my previous supervisor as one of my references. While we did not have a stellar personal relationship, professionally, I was always on time, reliable, did my work and tried to not only meet but exceed expectations, and never called out. The previous girl in my position did not get along well with this supervisor, and even the HR department was privy to how difficult it was to get along with this particular supervisor (which is why it was so difficult to constantly fill the position). I've only been working after college for three years, but I've had shining references before this position, and I work hard to pay rent, tuition, etc. Recently, one of my prospective employers told me that they will be issuing me an offer letter after checking into my references. I emailed for follow up on said references, and got a response that said "Thank you for your interest, but we've decided to go with another candidate and made this decision yesterday." After asking this prospective employer about my references, she said they all got back to her - and I am personally under the impression that this particularly supervisor gave me a negative review, as all of my other references I still keep in close contact with. Plain and simple, what can I do to look into this matter further? I'm 25 years old and looking for "real" jobs now - I don't need this woman plaguing my track record of normally stellar performances. It was also a very good job and looks great on my resume, and I don't want to omit it. I know that it's a possibility that this company really did go with an internal candidate at the last moment, but I don't really believe that - what legitimate, well-reputed organization offers you a job, and then pulls out last minute, coincidentally just after checking your references? How much money do you think one would need in "travel account" before they could back pack across the world, minus they shady parts of the middle east? Recently, I have been faced with a crucial decision, where should I attend college? I am a senior in a prep school and I have been accepted in a variety of schools. When I a was young, through several tests, I was determined to have a genius IQ. I have received stellar grades throughout school and have received great test scores and all that jazz. My father wants me to attend his alma mater, Brown University,which I have been accepted to, so that I may pursue a degree in economics at the business school. Although Brown is a fantastic school, I do not wish to attend Brown, nor do I want to pursue any degree related to business. I have always been passionate about science and want to pursue a degree in engineering, specifically mechanical engineering. After touring the school, I fell in love with Umass Amherst. I felt that at Brown the students are all obsessed with money and the name of their school. At Umass, I observed that the students are more genuine and down to earth, compared the aggregation of trust fund babies who attend Brown. My father is furious that I want to decline my attendance to Brown and attend my safety school Umass, despite my desires. He claims that instead of becoming successful, I would become a partying zoo animal at Umass. I realize that Umass is a lower tier school compared to Brown but I desire to do what makes me happy. I realize that I can be successful if I work hard at what I enjoy doing. My father, on the other hand, does not give a damn about my aspirations and claims that I am making a foolish and childish mistake. What does it mean when a company reposts the same job after interviews...?

I interviewed for a job earlier this week. The interview went okay, nothing stellar but not bad either. I was told at the end of the interview that they will follow up with successful candidates for a second round of interviews and that the whole process would take another few weeks. Now, not even a full week after my interview, the job has been posted on another website with an application deadline several weeks out... What does that mean? Is it safe to assume I won't get called back for this supposed second interview? :/

Ah, God bless the Marines. My husband is a USMC veteran. Crate training adjustment?

Ok quick bio of my doggie :) Her name is Kammi we suspect she is 8 or 9 months old. I was originally fostering her, but as most people know fostering can be deadly when it comes to such a cute face! My boyfriend and I adopted her out an(please note that me and my boyfriend are first time dog owners). We have had her for erm....about a month now she is also 37 lbs. She was a stray and has not had any training. We have been crate training her mainly just for housebreaking. We are now allowing her to walk freely in and out of her crate at night. So far so good!! Now I have heard that the crate becomes the dogs den, but me and my boyfriend don't want to keep this crate forever because it is a eye sore in our apartment. I'd like to point out that the crate she is in is sorta sorta tinyish (it was a hand-me-down) :( so I would really prefer that she doesn't always sleep in the crate. I work and my boyfriend goes to school. I'm wondering if she will react poorly if we remove the crate all together and give her a bed to sleep in. I'm also wondering if we get a large wired cage if she would react poorly to it sense it wasn't her original "den". This might be a silly question to ask but I would rather ask anyways :D...

I moved to this school in fifth grade. Now I'll be going into freshman year. During the summer of fifth and sixth grade I went to the school to hang out with my best friend at the time(A girl). On the way there as we passed the gas station, there was a group of the more jock-like guys, who I do not like because they were very rude and judged people A LOT. Yes, we did have jock-ish people at that time, more mild then, though. Story short- we got called losers, fatties, bitches, etc., but went on. They were there when my friend and I got to the park-school thing. They teased us, stole my water, and well, were assholes. I never wanted to see their faces, mainly his. To my surprise, he was in my 6th grade class. Well, I avoided him because of his douche-ish acts. During the year, I progressed into more of a girl.(Within 3 months) Meaning--not to be offensive-- I slimmed out and got 4 inches taller.I was really short, by the end of that I was 5' and 1 half inches. After that was over... I caught him staring at me. That went on for the rest of the school year. While we were at a week long camp(in May), he was in my group, one thing on my mind- oh joy... I told this kid who I joke around with a lot that I, jokingly, hated him, the guy who I'm asking the question about(who I'll nickname 'boy') was behind me talking to a guy. Boy then said, 'you don't hate me, right?'. Confused I said "no.. you're alright." that was odd. On the last day of school, Boy walked up to me blushing and was going to say something, but then walked away.(I know it's long, bare with me!) He has been in 4 of my classes(not including 6th grade) during the course of middle school, and has been my project partner once, and we barely talked to each other during that time, or during middle school at all. Boy still stared and sometimes blushed or smiled. I talked to my very good best friend, who is a gamer and guy, and he said he has only the slightest clue of a yes. My very few female friends say, maybe. I really do not like this guy! He is rude and keeps girlfriends for like 2 months or less. Boy also harshly dumps them 75% of the time.
