Skip writing on SAT and focus on other sections?

I already took the SAT and did less-then-stellar on my math and critical reading. i want to just go all out on those for my second try and not bother with the writing. does anybody know if it states which type of section you're on at the beginning of the section, because i dont want to accidently skip a reading section. thanks a lot!
