Parenting teens: Laziness and responsibility with money?

Honestly you sound kinda jealous of your friend. My parents have "helped" me out a lot as a teen and now that im older im perfectly fine, Im responsible and I know how hard it is to make a good living. Im thankful that my parents were so helpful and had the means to help me because it made it easier for me to get to where i needed to be. i think that's what all parents want, for their kids to have it better. I mean what her parents are doing for her doesn't sound all that ridiculous to me. She has a job shes doing what she needs to, so her parents are better off than yours and are willing to help more, so what? I had a friend whose parents bought her an apartment and a lexus and she had NO job... now that is messed up. Really you just sound really childish and jealous, And maybe you guys shouldn't be friends......
