How much petrol do you think I'll end up using if I drive from Melb to Queenland?

I would like to go on a road trip and would like to know a rough idea of how many times I will have to fill up my tank. My car is a 1996 Toyota Corolla hatchback and takes unleaded petrol, would like to hear from someone who has made this trip :-)
