What are some good YA novels?

Specifically for older teens/early 20s. I love the hunger games series, the harry potter series, and the mortal instruments series. I prefer series novels because they give me something to do for a while. I also can occasionally do the cheesy high school girl books, I really liked the Airhead series by Meg Cabot and when I was younger I really liked How to be Popular by Meg Cabot and Sweet 16 by Kate Brian so maybe it would be fun to revisit those kinds of books, but I mainly like fantasy or dystopic society type books, again, preferably a series. I am not interested in any of the major popular series like Eragon or Twilight.
