Do you think you would survive if there was a major world disaster?

In this scenario lets say there is no electricity, no water and only the fuel left in cars and petrol stations. I think about this a lot. On the one hand we need this to happen if there is any chance of redeeming our species, on the other, most of us would die. I know a bit about wild food and skinning animals but i dont think i could survive. I can't make my own shoes or start a fire without a lighter or kill a deer with a bow and arrow.People often say we could have solar power for electricity, yes until the battery breaks. Do you know how to make a new one from scratch without oil? (Personally i don't think we need electricity. We need proper community, living together and sharing our lives with people on real solid earth not a buzzing machine.) A lot of people I discuss this with think they would survive so I am interested to know what other people think.
